A website she's proud
to share.
Mary needed a Pilates studio website that matched her editorial taste and justified premium pricing. We designed something she sends to every new client. Bookings jumped 35% in month one.

Premium pricing needs a premium first impression.
Mary was launching a private Pilates studio in Haberfield charging 2-5x the rate of commercial group classes. At $80-120 per session, every new client evaluates the website before they book. The site needed to feel as intentional as the sessions themselves.
She had a strong aesthetic vision but no way to translate it into a website. Most Pilates studio sites are bright, high-energy, and generic. Mary wanted the opposite: contemplative, editorial, and grounded in materiality.
This meant an extended design brief process. We showed competitor sites, explored editorial references, and landed on three words: organic, spatial, intentional.
Design that does the selling.
Three colours. Two fonts. Zero noise.
The entire site uses warm beige, soft grey, and dark charcoal. Instrument Serif for headlines. Neue Haas Grotesk for body. That restraint is the design. Every section breathes with generous whitespace that signals exclusivity without saying the word.
Other Pilates studio sites scream for attention with gradients, bold colours, and stock imagery. Mary's site is quiet. The confidence comes from the space between elements, not from filling every pixel.

Booking flow that feels personal
A full-page consultation form with complimentary booking messaging. Confirmation emails go to the client and Mary simultaneously via Resend API. The “Book Consultation” button stays fixed on every page.
Story over sales pitch
Mary's 400-word personal story, professional credentials (500+ training hours, 3+ specialisations), and 7 authentic testimonials from founding members. Trust built through narrative, not bullet points.

35% more bookings. Zero price objections.
The site went live and consultation bookings jumped 35% in the first month compared to word-of-mouth alone. Premium session rates ($80-120) held with zero pushback from visitors who found the studio online.
70% of new clients cited the website as their first touchpoint. The design itself became Mary's best marketing tool. She sends the link to every referral and potential client. Bounce rate sits under 30%, less than half the 55% fitness industry average.
“Pilates Haberfield” reached page 1 within 6 weeks. Local SEO and HealthAndBeautyBusiness schema markup drive consistent organic visibility for suburb-level searches across the Inner West.
Results reported by client in the first 3 months post-launch.
