Venture // Content Directory

A directory
that runs itself.

Vibe Coder HQ is a curated hub of AI coding tools, prompts, boilerplates, and guides for people building software without a dev background. Readers submit the content, an editor approves it, and the newsletter grows off the back of it.

(01) The Opportunity

Too many tools, no trusted map.

A new wave of founders is building software with AI instead of a computer science degree. The tools change every week. The advice is scattered across threads, videos, and paid courses. Someone starting out has no reliable place to find what works.

Vibe Coder HQ set out to be that place. One hub where the prompts, boilerplates, tools, and guides are collected, rated, and sorted, so a non-technical builder can find the right resource without wading through noise.

A directory only earns trust if the content is current and the site is fast. Keeping both true, at scale, without a full-time editorial team, was the real problem to solve.

(02) The Build

A directory the audience fills in.

One content model, every surface

Seven content types live in Sanity: tools, prompts, boilerplates, guides, blog posts, success stories, and reviews. Each has its own fields, so a tool carries a rating and a category, and a success story carries an earnings figure and a verification flag.

That single model feeds the listing cards, the detail pages, the search filters, and the leaderboard. Editing one record updates every place it appears.

Submissions with a moderation gate

Readers submit tools, prompts, boilerplates, and their own success stories through forms. Each one lands in Sanity as pending and stays hidden until an editor approves it. The audience grows the library, and spam never reaches the page.

Growth engine

Every page feeds the newsletter

Signup forms sit on the homepage and across the site, wired to Beehiiv through its API. A leaderboard ranking builders by revenue and a star-rating system on every tool give people reasons to keep coming back, and reasons to subscribe.

(03) The Result

A platform, not a blog.

Vibe Coder HQ runs as a content platform with its own submission pipeline, moderation queue, ratings, leaderboard, and newsletter engine. The owner adds and approves content from Sanity. The site handles everything else.

Every listing, guide, and story is a server-rendered page with structured data attached, so search engines index the catalogue as it grows. Images serve from Sanity's CDN through the Next.js pipeline, which keeps the site quick even as the library expands to hundreds of entries.

The 2026 build replaced the original MVP with a full design system documented down to the tokens, so new sections drop in without a redesign. It is a directory built to keep growing.
